Using natural light and cut pieces of black or white foam core for a backdrop, these are spring blooms growing along the sidewalk. The color mixing, resulting forms and shadows are interesting.
Images from my neighborhood and local community, all impromptu and made after a quick conversation or studied observation of the landscape and light. The images are a mix of iPhone, digital dslr and film. Examples include images of the first book/early study made, as well as the dummy made researching a second book. If interested please inquire.
52 refers to 52 weeks in a year. I have been making a portrait a week of my kids for years, creating books from those years. During COVID I included the children of friends’ families as well. Overall it’s a study of light, identity and time.
A fine art/personal project where, being a part of an invited group of photographers, I began to see the process through a darker lens, less celebrative, more of a hunt. Images include a dummy I made in hopes of publishing. If interested please inquire.
I have been photographing professional soccer from Providence Park in Portland, OR since 2016 and currently provide images for Rose City Review who cover the MLS Portland Timbers and NWSL Portland Thorns. If your outlet needs coverage I am available.
A very large gallery with somewhat random selects from various personal projects, visual thought projects, commercial work as well as attempts made in other media toward other ends.
